The robomop is an excellent bit of kit . A five hour charge gives me two 1.5 hours of cleaning . I put it on when I go to bed and it roams about without any problems . It's never been trapped yet and it gets into small spaces . It gets under things 3.5 inchs and between things 7.5 inchs .
One of the best things is that if you don't lift your feet out of the way it will come back later , and it doesn't tut! at you .
You get a few cleaning pads with it and they go in the bin once you're finished with them .

This is a lovely little gadget; the simplest ideas are often the best they say. Its like a sort of easy-going, naked iroomba.
My house has laminate ground floor then carpetted stairs. These stairs were suffering terribly from accumulation of dog hairs that drift from the wood and get caught by the carpet. Only daily hoovering could keep it at bay, daily hoovering was not in the least practical for our household. Now my little robomop friend scooshes around with minimum of sound or disturbances and picks up all the hairs.
It is very simple to use - charge ball, push 1 button on ball, place ball in basket and off it goes. It looks quite purposeful and lively while in action and if there is somewhere I want it to go it has no problem with me poking it about with my foot. Its routes are very random but left alone in a room for an hour I can return to good standard of clean. Will still need to hoover but it does exactly what I want it to and was an excellent price - extra pads are a bit pricey but then so are bags for my hoover.
Now to research a gadget that will help to stop a 7 year old from following a robomop about on all fours...
